It started with a friend request!

Hello!

Hope everyone is alive!

Let's rewind ten years back.Be it a boy or girl,it's quite exciting when we have an opportunity to talk to our opposite gender during our teenage times most often in school days especially if the school is Co-Ed and punishes us like we had made a criminal offense when we talk to them.Obviously the teens are keen in doing something when they are told not to do but school doesn't understand the 'Teenage problems' when they are actively teaching about the bloody hormonal secretions.

I know this guy named Nithun who was my very close friend in school days.He always wanted to talk to a girl who was two rooms next to our class. It was not a crush thing or love but simply he felt that he wanted to say hi and just wanted to be friendly but I didn't believe him first because the way he described her.He said, she was really fair enough with little chubby cheeks, sharp eyes, trimmed eyebrows, curly hair and the cute dimple when she smiles.Do you really believe after all these poetical descriptions and someone says I don't have love at all?

But he was not so serious on her.He didn't stalk and talk or think about her but whenever she crosses our class I could see him blushing for no reasons.Even though he wasn't serious,he himself had a strong challenge that he would talk and make her as friend before he enters college days which was going to happen in six months. The thing is he didn't even know her name at that stage except a clue that her name starts with 'D'

On one fine day, when he was returning from Principal's room, luckily he got a chance to deliver her class attendance book to her class teacher. He grabbed that chance for finding her name but there were five names starting with 'D' and he noted down all the names. There was my another classmate whose sister was also 'D's classmate so he asked him to seek his sister's help to sort out the names and help him finding his dimple girl.

He didn't believe that a small description like 'cute dimple with curly  hair' was quite enough to hunt her name that was 'Deekshitha' but he was left with just three months for accomplishing his mission when he found her name.

The day of final exam had arrived which was his last chance to talk to her but he did let the chance go off his hands. The mission was failed and so the chance of gossiping fumes in school.

Fast forwarding after six months in College he was introduced to the world of smart phones and Facebook. To his surprise, our uncle Mark Zuckerberg had put Deekshitha's profile in his suggestion list and without a second thought he immediately sent a friend request.Within an hour she had accepted his request and they found each other in virtual world of Messenger.

Nithun: Just because you accepted my friend request doesn't mean that you know me right?

Deekshi: No,I know and had seen you here and there in school but not much.

Nithun: Oh! Thanks to school then but I know you pretty sure.

Deekshi: How?

Nithun: You are the odd one out with curly hair and dimple.

Deekshi: I know you but I didn't know that you are really good in flirting.

Nithun: Come on!Just don't hype yourself. I wanted to talk to you in school days itself but didn't have a chance.

Deekshi: Okay cool! I'm doing Computer Science in CIT,Coimbatore. What about you?

Nithun: Oh great! I'm also in Coimbatore doing mechanical engineering in PSG.

Deekshi: Oh seriously? Next week Mechanical dept is gonna conduct a symposium. Why don't you come and visit?

A day after that symposium,he called me and said that he had completed his mission and spent one fine evening with her in cafe day. Finally,Deekshitha becomes friend to Nithun.

"Better late than never" though 'IT STARTED WITH A FRIEND REQUEST'

Gang Leader Ganapati

"Ganapati Bappa Morya"   None of the Indians and of course his worldwide fans would've come across without hearing this slogan but ever wondered what does it exactly mean? Before getting into that, who is exactly this Ganapati and why is he so famous? Okay let me introduce the world famous and terrific GANG LEADER of many, Lord Ganapati (Pillayar in Tamil) Typical Indian Son It is very usual to see the clashes between Indian dads and sons for so many things. Our gang leader Ganapati was also no way different from this and in fact he was one step ahead because he got in to a war with his dad even before they got to know who were each other. In this war,his head was lopped off by his angry dad Lord Shiva and he had an immediate plastic surgery but with elephant's head after his mommy Parvathi lashed out a huge anger(typical Indian mom)towards her husband. From that moment he was called  as "God of war"  This one war with his dad is quite enough to accept him as a...

Thank you, Corona!

Covid-19 Amid of all global crisis caused by Corona,Why we actually need to THANK it? Well, its not limited to one simple answer. English Teacher Corona introduces new and not even heard before vocabularies like quarantine, pandemic, epidemic, lock down and social distancing.Believe it or not, ever since my birth I never heard these terms until Corona came to existence. So thank you Corona for introducing new vocabularies. Entertainer Like a wooden spoon comes with a package of ice-cream,Corona comes with a package of  lock down and so do the entertainment. In childhood days, its really difficult to go to theaters and watch our favorite stars on screen because 90's kid's parents were too strict or it would be correct if I say, they might've thought letting their children to theaters would turn them from becoming a world class scientist to SUPERSTAR RAJINIKANTH. But now, the tables have turned. The same 90's kids introducing a new platform called OTT (over the top media like ...

Unpunished Crimes

Welcome back everyone! Is it illegal to have desires? By chance if having desires are crimes, what would be the small to big crimes we would have all possibly come across? In that case,my first ever crime was to have a 'Milton water bottle' since I was taking water in used and washed plastic PEPSI/COKE bottle during my school days. Whoever holds that Milton bottle in those days were tagged as elite class people. My first 'oh my God' moment was when I overheard my class mates talking about the 'color TV' one of my rich friends had got in his house. After coming back to home,I asked my Mommy about this color TV to which she told me that it would show everything in color instead of black and White like ours and also she added that it was not affordable for us even before I was asking, "Why shouldn't we buy it?" Fast forwarding to the era of MTB bicycles.I used to go to school by a Captain cycle without bar while many of my friends were coming to schoo...
